Seasons Greetings And Happy New Year To All Visitors. Updated January 13th, 2012.
Welcome to the 1961 Class of Montclair High School, located in Montclair, New Jersey. We all graduated on June 15th 1961, with the guys in white sport coats and the gals in various pastel colored dresses - quite different from the traditional caps and gowns seen so often today.
Reunions - The countdown has started. This coming weekend (October 14th, 15th & 16th of 2011), we will be celebrating our 50th class reunion. It will begin Friday evening October 14 with the main event scheduled for Saturday October 15. It will be held at the Montclair Art Museum. A number of reunions have been held, typically at 5 and/or 10 year intervals. The most recent reunion (our 45th) was held on September 30th , 2006 at the Commonwealth Club in Upper Montclair. 85 to 100 people attended this reunion from various locations across the USA. A number of classmates are now retired from their many occupations, and many more are comtemplating this next chapter in their lives. Just about all of us have reared a family, and many of us now have grandchildren to enjoy.

Our class looses another member - We just learned that Linda Taylor (Barnes) passed away on Sunday afternnon, July 2, 2011, at her home following a fourteen month battle with brain cancer.
